The ministries of our parish allow us to devote more time and energy to more and different areas of the Church. Under the leadership of their chairs and other members, these ministries accomplish much for the common good. Their work most often involves planning and organizing, but not actually doing by themselves everything that must be done. Rather, these folk bid others join them.

For example: Parish Life Ministry is responsible for organizing church socials on Sunday. The ministry members furnish the supplies, but they schedule other parishioners to set up and clean up the socials. Another example: Buildings and Grounds Ministry is responsible for the churchyard. They may choose to contract a needed service (like painting the chapel), or they may elect to call upon parishioners to achieve the goal (like sprucing up at Homecoming and Easter!)
